Ardnandave
self catering cottage is a charming detached cottage situated in the
picturesque village of Brig O’ Turk, slap bang in the heart of
the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The area, made famous by the novelist, Sir Walter Scott, has many places of interest including Loch Katrine where the 104 year old Victorian steam boat bearing his name still cruises daily. Also close at hand is the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park with the David Marshall Visitor Centre where ospreys with their chicks can be observed via the 24-hour camera watch. The town of Callander is nearby and can be reached either by a short car journey or a walk along the banks of Loch Vennacher, which forms part of the national cycle route 7. The town boasts a modern Leisure Complex offering a wide range of activities. There is an outdoor bowling club where our guests at Ardnandave can enjoy unlimited use and there is a PGA golf course nearby. The
accommodation at Ardnandave is all on the ground floor and comprises
TV lounge, sun lounge, fully fitted kitchen with dining area, utility
room, cloakroom, three bedrooms (1 double en suite, 1 twin and 1 family).
Sleeps 7. A short stroll will take you to a local inn or tearoom both providing food and drink. A further two restaurants are located closeby both with stunning views over our lochs and glens. A wonderful location for a memorable holiday!
